This piece is a portrayal of the five wise virgins from the parable of the Ten Virgins in Matthew chapter 25. It is an example to us to always keep our spiritual lamps trimmed and full, drop by drop, by good spiritual habits of daily scripture study; attending church; striving to be worthy of the Temple and attending as often as circumstances permit; seeking the Lord in prayer many times daily; and always having Him in our thoughts and keeping Him at the center of our lives. It is only through constant attention to these things that will we be familiar with the Savior’s voice and will. Only then will we be ready spiritually for the Second Coming of the Lord.
