First News of the Resurrection, by Rose Datoc Dall, 21x42 Signed Ltd Ed Print

  • Rose Datoc Dall draws from the scripture, Mark 16:1-8, which tells of women disciples who went to Savior's tomb that first Easter Sunday, to anoint His body with spices. They encountered an angel who told them that Jesus has risen. They were therefore told to spread the news to the disciples. Thus these women were the first bearers of news of the resurrection.
